Patricia E. Bailey Stuhr, 66, Barnesville, passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family.
Patti was born November 5, 1946 in Bismarck, ND to Clifford and Katherine (Wohkittel) Bailey. She graduated from Bismarck High School before attending and graduating from Electrolysis School in Phoenix, AZ. She worked for Moorhead High School with students who had disabilities before starting her own business, Electrolysis by Patti.
Work was one of Patti’s passions. It allowed her to connect with people. Her clients became part of her family. She was a beautiful person with a great heart that had a special place in it for everyone in her life.
Patti married Gerald Stuhr in April of 2000. Jerry was Patti’s best friend and became her loving care-giver. Jerry made Patti’s dream come true when he bought a motor home and the two of them traveled together last winter. They traveled many states together visiting many family and friends across the miles.
Patti was a Christian woman, a believer, caring, non-judgmental, loving, comforting and supportive to all. Patti took pride in caring for her parents. Patti’s family, especially her grandchildren, were her “life”. The joy they brought to her kept her spirits high.
Patti will live on in every person she has touched throughout her life and will be forever missed by all who were blessed to have known her.
Patti is survived by her loving husband Jerry, Barnesville, MN; children, Steve (Mary) Selzler, Bismarck, ND, Danny (Sara) Selzler, Moorhead, MN, grandchildren, Zachary, Lexi, Sarah, Isabelle, Dylan, Olivia, Madison and John; brother, Mike (Vicki) Bailey, Bismarck, ND; sisters, Rena (Pete) Teyssedre, Seattle, WA and Linda (Wally) Jacobson, Tucson, AZ and many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
